Hi, After having trouble with windows backup I decided to use the easy cd creator that came with my computer. I copied some files from my hardrive onto my D: drive using the program and now when I insert a CD it asks if I want to install Udf reader for windows 95/NT. I have windows 98se.

When I look in win explorer my drive D: shows up as a UDF reader. When I look at the disk through explorer that previously had a backup on it it has been replaced by two files ('autorun' and udfinstr). If I try and use windows system tools backup it says the disk is write protected and won't let me make backups. It seems just putting a disk in my drive erases my files and replaces them with the two I mentioned above. What is going on and how do I get rid of the problem? Thanks if anyone can help.

Thanks Steeev, I had uninstalled Direct CD and after reinstalling it seems to be working.
