Help uninstalling AVG version 8

Hello,

Just recently I noticed a window pop up from AVG saying "License Number could not be fully verified." This error is usually caused by a corrupted installation. blah blah blah...

if I go to reinstall AVG and click on all three agreements and does the system setup ...I have three options...Add or remove components, repair installation, and Uninstall Product....

I already tried all three...and it wont let me uninstall it because it keeps getting "Uninstall failed!"

1 error ocurred.
If the prob persists please contact tech support.


If I click on details it says...

Error: Action failed...registry key HKLM\SOFT\Microsoft'
Error 0x80070005

What does this mean?? please help!
