Help w/ web development

Hello,
I have been working on my web page for months now, and all I really have on there is a bunch of pics. and the google search engine.Now I find out that I can't even use the pics. on there do to copyright laws,I got most of them from other websites.I would ask permission from the sources I got them from but I don't remember which sites they came from. Is there any ways around copyright laws without getting into trouble? I'm not selling the pics, there just on the site for people to look at. Also,does anyone have any good sites to get content,especially java games and such?

This isn't a programming question at all.

As for copyright laws, no there isn't any way around them. That stuff is copyrighted. Of course chances are nothing will happen if you use it, but ultimately unless you get permission it will remain illegal to use content from anyone else site.
