I keep getting error messages when I reboot saying that it can't detect windows\BXXS5.dll. I had the Second Thought virus/spyware and removed it (I think) according to directions I found online pertaining to registry files, but now I keep getting this error message whenever I reboot and I don't know what to do! Is this something I need? My system seems to run fine without it so far. I installed Hijack This and ran it, and that file is referenced in the scan results, but I'm a novice in this and have no idea what the results mean and don't want to randomly delete stuff that might be pertinent to the OS. Any ideas? Oh, I'm running Windows ME too if that makes a difference. Thanks for any help!

If your getting that error, odds are it is running on startup. Two options. Use a tool to check startup items (good bet because it checks registry items as well) or go to start, run, type in msconfig and check the startup tab. You can find tools to check these in our admin section. Some good choices include StartupCPL http://majorgeeks.com/download619.html and Startup Inspector http://majorgeeks.com/download4075.html

Let us know if that does not work :)
