Help with Hijack this log & down browsers

I am very inexperienced with most techie stuff and have two major problems right now. Not sure if this is the way to ask for help but thought I would try.

1- just did a hijackthis on my pc and need help figuring out what to do next
2- my daughter's pc (connected with Dlink) is now unable to open any browser/urls. The only things she can do are, use msn chat and the regular program files. Besides crying, is there anything I can do to restore the internet browsers to funtion (netscape and IE).

Mostly questionable websites (pRon, warez etc.) and "free" software that is advertized in popups. MSN in itself isnt a medium for spyware to get onto your computer.

but if you arnt experianced, then i would jsut reccomend doing a spybot and adaware. also, just putting in my two cents, i would reccomend getting mozilla firefox, an alternitive to IE. www.mozilla.com
