    Hello

My problems are really simple, but I really need help.

Last year I came to majorgeeks for help removing malware. I was greatly helped. So now I again need some help.

I do not know if my computer is protected from malware and spyware.

Last time, I was instructed to download: Roguekiller, MalwareBytes, TDSKiller, HitmanPro, MGTools. They no longer seem to be functional. I was using MalwareBytes for about a year, but then one day I was told that I had to start paying for it, which I never ended up purchasing.

    So, I need...

    1. Real-time malware blocking.
    2. After the fact scanning.

What do I do about the five anti-malware programs I have on my computer?

If I get a really good anti-malware program, will it also fully protect me from spyware?

I currently use Norton 360 as an Antivirus.

I do not know if my computer has a functioning firewall. Could you please determine for me what firewalls I have.

I do not know if my computer is infected with malware/spyware. Am I going to need to do the Malware Removal Guide again??

You are not supposed to keep RogueKiller, TDSSKiller, HitmanPro or MGtools. You are supposed to re-download the current versions everytime you need assistance removing malware.

I was using MalwareBytes for about a year, but then one day I was told that I had to start paying for it, which I never ended up purchasing. [/quote] So then you just have the after the fact scanner now since the free trial has expired.

You stated below that you have Norton 360 which has all. And the free version of Malwarebytes is an after the fact scanner.

Did you follow final instructions last time? As stated above your should have removed them.

Not 100%. You are the first and most effective line of defence. It anti-malware programs worked perfectly, forums like this would not have to exist.

It is a full protection suite. It is not just an antivirus. It has anti-malware, antivirus, firewall and perhaps more.

If you want a definitive answer then yes!
