help with zone alarm

after installing zone alarm, now I cannot get on the internet, so I uninstall it, and I get on, but now my browser is slower than crap, its like a 56k modem, but I have dsl. plus without zone alarm I get mega pop-ups. help please

If your internet connection was okay before you installed Zone Alarm, please try going back to a restore point just prior to when you installed Zone Alarm. This will NOT remove any malware, and your computer sounds like it does have malware, but it may help get your internet connection a little better so you can proceed with the rest of the instructions more easily.

If you've never gone back to an earlier restore point before, go to Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore
check the box to Restore my computer to an earlier time and click on Next. You'll see a calendar with highlighted dates. Choose one of the dates just preceeding these problems and allow your system to return to that date. See if the problem goes away.

If the above helped your internet connection, please proceed with the READ & RUN ME link below. If your internet connection is still as slow as dialup, please proceed with the READ & RUN ME instructions, but use another computer to download the programs we need for you to download, onto a cd or flash drive, and transfer them to the slow computer. Or if you have lots of time, just do the instructions with the slow connection. If the problem is malware, you'll find some relief from the symptoms as you work through the instructions.

And now, please go through the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST and attach the requested logs when you're finished. One of us will look at your logs to see what problems still need to be taken care of.
