Help writing a book (software or an HTML address)

Well I know that you fairly well can write a professional book in for example Word but I need a more informative editor, that can tell me how to write a book. Maybe the program uses a template or something I don't know... Well I really need such a program as I'm in the process of writing my exam and I wanna make a good impression *duh*

And if you are not familiar with such a program can't you direct me to a website or anything else for that matter that specifies on how to write a good book, the essential information etc...

Microsoft Word can do some impressive things. I know cause I'm working on getting Word 2000 master certified (that means I know more than just how to save)

Word also has some nice features that can automatically create an index and a table of contents. That involves outlining your book as you go along though.

 

I use HTML for everything, just becuse .doc format is _HEAVY_ and _HUGE_, while HTML has excellent compression and I love it . I am actually helping update a book online that is in HTML (it may get published as well, if it does I will name the Chapter I am doing the vlad chapter ).
