I have a major problem here.. Need help !
I have a server and 10 computer clients. I create some hidden sharing folders and network printer, so can be accessed by clients. In some time, suddenly those sharing folders (with $/hidden) and network printer disappear. It looks like 'unshared' by system / virus (?). When i re-share, it could work for some time (around 5 minutes) then unshared again.
What's problem with my server? If this virus, is there any tool that can 'heal' my server? Cause i have scanned with update antivir, and it didnt catch any virus.

Any help would be very appreciated.
    Thank u.

When you bring up the command prompt, and use :

    net use (press enter).

Are the shares there, but list as disconnected?

This 'net use' service cant be used, neither 'net send'.
I don't know what is causing this.
The icon 'hand' in the shared folder (with $) suddenly gone after i sharing it. But not for standard sharing.
    BTW thanks for ur reply...

So, when you run, cmd (to bring up the command prompt), and you type:
net use (press enter), you don't get an error?

Also, what is the server os, and the client os?

Is wins started on the server?

Also, when ye create these shares, are ye using "persistent" sharing?

How do ye create the share, via the gui, or via the command prompt?

Either way, there should be a option to make the share "persistent".

Also, WHY? are ye using hidden shares, instead of just creating groups to allow one to use a share or not?

    I create share via GUI.
Why am i creating hidden files? Because this shared folder is used for database, so i think its better to be hidden.
