    Hey,

"Hide file extensions for known file types" option which is available in all windows versions under Tools->Folder Options->View.

I was wondering does this have a corresponding registry value. If so could someone please post it.

I have had a look and cant seem to find it.

    Ya i knew that method.

but actually i want to enable viewing of extensions on all files on a protected system.

I am on a computer in college and the option i mention above is not available but the regedit program is available. I want to enable viewing the extensions on all files without having to go through each one individually.

This may not be possible but i just want to know if it is.
