   I made it through the section where you recommend running CCleaner. When I clicked on the "download now" link...I installed something called PC Registry Cleaner. It would not work unless purchased. When I tried to uninstall it, it would not uninstall so I spent the last 5 hours working with the manufacturer to get it removed from my computer. Did I do something wrong? It seemed so simple up to this point. What do you recommend next?

   When you hit the link to the download server...it will pop up a window (that has an advertisement on it -> don't click that) ..wait for the popup asking you whether you want to save or run...choose save with the destination your desktop.
   
   This is not the most important thing to do...running the malware scans is along with running the MGTools.exe.
