Hotmail error and computer freezing

    Hi

A couple of problems. First one is when I go to hotmail, I usually receive the attached error message (see attachment). When I click OK, I then get a standatd "Internet explorer cannot display the page" message, but I then click on refresh and hotmail loads as normal. The error message occurs after I've input my username and password.

Secondly, I've recently installed some more RAM. It's speeded up my computer significantly but occasionally it freezes during boot up. Any ideas why this might be happening?

Look forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks as always.

    Hi

I would initially be suspecting an add-on so try IE in no add-ons mode, its in Accessories > System Tools menu

If Hotmail works ok then start the normal IE and goto Tools > Manage addons and Enable Disable Addons and disable all currently loaded ones and then test Hotmail after restarting IE, then if ok enable one at a time until the culprit is found.

For the freeze during boot, maybe you need to copy your BIOS settings to paper and then reset CMOS (the bios) and re-enter your settings as sometimes adding new hardware just upsets it a little.
