How can i configure my win 98 SE computer to be a web server??

    How can i configure my win 98 SE computer to be a web server??

    i WANT TO RUN A PYTHON SCRIPT ON MY WEB SERVER.

    You can try downloading apache for windows, but really its an unsupported config, they request that you at least be running 2000 and thats your best bet even for a testing server. Or you could allways go with a linux/apache config.

    Heh, and don't uninstall it if you hope to ever get it back. I've installed/uninstalled ('cause I messed up the config file)and attempted a re-install, which just wouldn't work. The uninstall doesn't free up the socket address that it uses. Just about everybody has the same problem (as I review the help forum), and I've yet to find a fix.
