How can i Find my Xp serial Key

Hi everyone, alright so i got some mad virus on this computer that it wont allow me to see anything at all besides my background, i thought maybe it could be the explorer but i still couldnt work with it. I did a dual boot and installed another copy of windows xp on another partition (D, so i need to know how i can get the serial key from the old partition (C, but i have to do it from drive (D. Any suggestions?

 

use this. It's called Keyfinder. Simply run the program and there you have your serials.

the key finder did work but for the current windows im running, i need to find the key for the other windows install. I'm using this one temp. until i can recover that key. is there a location in the windows folder that has it?
