open up notepad, place the following in the text file and name the file Dirlisting.bat

    dir %1 /-p /o:gn /B > "%temp%\Dir Listing"
    start /w notepad "%temp%\Dir Listing"
    del "%temp%\Dir Listing"

now, put the batch file in what ever directory you need to list out. Double click on the batch file, Then save the file that pops up as whatever you want.

    List Files/Folders

Go to PCForrest site and download (Freeware) a prog "List Folders" It is great it is bug free. You right click on the file/folder in Explorer and it's there for you to save as a text file. Have used it for a long time with no hassles
    Cheers
