When I switch on my Dell Vostro 200 Mini Tower PC running XP SP3, I get a first screen which includes these statements at top right along these lines (from memory) :-
    F2 - Setup
    F12 - Boot Menu
I would like to insert an additional second line as a personal reminder thus:-
    F2 - Setup
    F8 - Start-up Mode
    F12 - Boot Menu
I cannot find a target character string from this content using Windows Explorer. Can anyone tell me how to get at this screen content in order to modify it please? Your help will be much appreciated.

I suggest you take a large blank address label ( 3 1/2" x 15/16" works well for me) and write this on it
    F2 - Setup
    F8 - Start-up Mode
    F12 - Boot Menu

Paste the label on the side of the mini tower.

We have 5 "desktop" computers, all different sizes, in the house. Of course, each has different menu options. I pasted a label on each system since my husband counts on me to do all the tech support and I can't remember from one computer to the next what the options are.
