How can I suppress ads in YouTube?

I want to suppress the little pop-up adverts while playing a YT video. Not a browser pop-up blocker but the little pests WITHIN YT such as University Phoenix, etc. I have been told that adding a few characters to the title such as: <filename> ads=nul but I've tried many combinations without success. It's not a major issue, just a frustrating bother to keep x-ing them out of the way.

 

Which browser are you using?

If FireFox, you can install these addons:

• http://adblockplus.org/en/

Don't think it's possible to remove them from other browsers but I could be wrong!

I all so use the Ad block plus as well plus these three.Flash block works on every site and if you want to view a video then all you have too do is click on the video like once and one more too start it.It is a good flash blocker.
