    hi,

I was wondering can I connect to my Grandparents XP Home computer
thru the inet and do certain tasks From my Vista Home Premium SP1 computer?
Such as update there virus protection, routine cleaning,
create & print documents on their home printer. Maybe show them how to use a program- like e-mail I think I showed them a million times but you know :)
They aren't all that tech savy & it would save me a lot of time & effort to do all this at home.

Is there a program, & or does windows do this naturally?
I heard of Logmein but it is subscription... Any other ideas?

You can use VNC single cllick but I have found this site is very easy for the less tech savy: http://www.freeremotesupport.com/

These are the easy ones, but require the end user to initiate a call. The longer way would require opening ports, maybe a dynamic DNS service, and would be always listening for you & everybody else to connect.

There's also TeamViewer I haven't tried it yet but a friend highly recommends it.
