How Do I Copy DVD To PC & Put It On My Zune?

I have a DvD movie that I want to put on my computer and then I want to put it on my Zune so I can watch it anywhere I go with my Zune.

I thought it was easy and pretty much self explanatory ... like burning cds ... but apparently it's not that way.

    Can you help?

    Please?

Assuming you have the movie on your computer already, try this converter.

As always when downloading from someone other than MGs, scan the file for malware before you run it.

Lucky for you, there are a few applications that can do that for you... take a look at this list.

    EDIT:
Never mind, just use the app Halo suggested.

    Hi

Give this WinX DVD a go to rip the DVD to AVI then use the app mimsy posted to convert to Zune format

WinX DvD won't let me copy it to my computer! It says the dvd is encrypted and the free version doesn't allow it. I am way too broke cuz of christmas so there's no way I can buy it. :( Any suggestions?

    Hi

Could have sworn WInX DVD did copy protected DVDs, but may have changed since I last used used it, only other suggestion is Bitripper

Well, CloneCD does, but it creates images, like .iso and similar formats... let me look into this and get back to you later today. Fair warning, it will be a few hours, at least. Have to do last-minute shopping... :(

Does the Zune media-manager have an option for importing from a DVD?

I use AnyDVD to break the code and Clone DVD. You will need AnyDVd and Clone DVD Mobile which will convert it to MP4 format then you can transfer it to your Zune

It is money well spent. Trust me.

Funny, all the research I've done comes back to Bitripper. Might be worth giving it a try. :)

True about the ISO's, but you can change the output to AVI, VCD or DVD and with cloneDVD Mobile you can change the output to mp4 and many others. I have been using it for years and I love it. I have never had any problems with it.

    Hi,

BitRipper is a great tool but it can hiccup with some DVD's. I've been using it for a few days and it copies most but I'm having some trouble with it stalling occasionally.

Any suggestions of a free or low cost All-in-one ripper/converter would also be appreciated.

    Thanks
