how do I install win98?

Just throwing this open as I have thoughts on this but no hard actual steps to take as I have used Knoppix but not got into the nitty gritty of its full function,

SO I may need some assistance from the Knoppix geniuses on this but I know you can boot to this CD and it gives you options to format and partition similar to Fdisk ( Knoppix's version is called CFDisk ) but my thoughts on how to get around this and install win98 ( as the HD will need to be reformatted to FAT32 as it will have NTFS on ) without a floppy are,

IF we can format the HD using Knoppix to FAT32, then if Knoppix will allow the win98 setup procedure to run.. great!

if not and you can access a dos prompt in Knoppix, you can copy the win98 cab files to the HD and install from the HD rather than the cd, using the below,

If you get a dos prompt....
Change to a C prompt by typing C: and press enter.

You will now be at a C:\> prompt.
Type MD WIN98 and press enter.
( Make sure you leave a space between MD and WIN98. )

Back at the C:\> prompt.
Type CD E:\WIN98 and press enter.
( Don't forget the space between CD and E:\WIN98. )

Back at the C:\> Prompt,
Type E: and press enter.
( Where E is your CD-ROM, otherwise use your CD-ROM letter. )

You should now be at an E:\WIN98 prompt.
Type COPY *.* C:\WIN98 and press enter.
( Don't forget the spaces between 'copy and *.*' and also between '*.* and C:\WIN98' )
The files needed for Windows will now be copied from your CD to your hard drive.

Back to an E:\WIN98 prompt.
Type C: and press enter.

Back at the C:\> prompt.
Type CD WIN98 and press enter.
( Don't forget the space between CD and WIN98. )

You will now be at a C:\WIN98 prompt.
Type SETUP and press enter.
Installation of Windows will now begin.

NOTE: some drive letters may need adjusting as this is copy and paste of an old doc I have saved. Plus Knoppix is a 694mb download so not Dialup friendly if thats your service )
