How do I start/boot in Safe Mode on Windows XP Home?

    In the threads that say how to get rid of malware, they say to boot your machine in Safe Mode. I have looked on my machine to find out how I start in Safe Mode, but I cannot find it.

    How do I start/boot my machine in Safe Mode??

    Press F8 before Windows starts loading.

    Tap it repeatedly, unless you have good timing :)
