Hey, I'm currently running an AMD sempron 2500+ at 166 Mhz, and only got 256 Mb Ram (Fried my other set) :( How far do u think i could get it to go without exploding my system?

Dont think I would be pushing the CPU too much, until the higher temps are sorted out.

    Hi There,
    I have an AMD 2600+ (1833 Mhz) Socket A, 166Mhz original, with an ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe and Kingston 2 X 256 DDR400 (Dual Channel).
With propprer Cooling (Thermaltake Volcano 7, two rear 8 fans and one 16 Fan in front), I manage to get 2205 Mhz (3200) setting the RAM to 200 Mhz (Agressive Bios Mode, both CPU and RAM).
My sys is perfectly stabe, however it´s important to have a good and stable PSU, above 450 W (minimum)...I have a Thermaltake PurePower 480W, 560W of peak output.
Sempron is a very tricky and instable CPU, so be careful and aware about the temperatures and voltages...do not destroy your other MEM... :)

    Regards
