You CAN add this to your cards it's hardware not software you have to upgrade your card you have no choice.....

Your geforce mx440 agp8x can not be upgraded, you have to buy a new card if you want pixel shader.

Shop around for the 6200 series if your on a budget. I picked up a 6200 from newegg for $40 and it had a $15 rebate to boot.

 

i would try for a fx5900 atleast only fx5500 isnt very good.
