Is it possible to connect an iPad air 2 to an Acer touchscreen monitor. Will the touchscreen function work? If yes, which cable would I buy? Lightning to HDMI? Thanks.

Since iPad doesn’t come along with ports like the Surface and other Windows 8.1 Tablets, there are some port adapter available through which you can easily transfer the files to PC or other Apple Devices.

You'll also find Digital AV, VGA and SD card reader adapters in the Apple store.

Look for PhotoFast i-FlashDrive Adapter for iPad but you have to be little patience since it’s a USB 2.0 experience.

Yes, but you will not have touchscreen functionality from the external monitor.
