   I finally figured out how to rip and burn. Thank you to all that helped!
   Now it would be so much easier if I could connect to CDDB from cdex. I have a DSL, wireless connection. I do not think I have a firewall, I checked in the control panel it shows all firewalls disabled.
   This is the error message:
   
   invalid server response HTPP/1.1 500internal server error

   basically means the server you are attaching to is Not a happy bunny today and doesnt want to play.
