How to get rid of PWS.Bancos.A

The first thing you need to do, is call all of your financial institutions and get all of your passwords and account info changed. I would also change any other online account and paswword info for anything you use. Do not do it from this PC though.


Now download GetRunKey125b.zip to your PC someplace you can locate it. Then extract the files from the ZIP. Locate the getrunkey125b.bat file and double click on it to run it. It will create a file named runkeys.txt in the root of drive C: (C:\runkeys.txt) . This log will also popup in a notepad window which your can just close. Upload the runkeys.txt file here as an attachment. Do this before continuing to the below.

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

- Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

- Also make sure you attach the logs from step 6. They are necessary for us to help you.


After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:
