how to install stuff in limited accnts

how do u install things in limited accounts when it doesnt ask which accounts you want to install it to. im trying to install steam for hl in my limited acnt.

This link should help explain it. If you do not have access to the Administrator's account you cannot install anything.

 

Never ever try to install a game, or related programs, to a limited account.

Games require full admin priveleges, especially ones with SafeDisc protection.

Trying to do otherwise causes Registry corruption that is a pain to fix.

 

if you know the admin account and password, you can right click on the installation exe and choose RUNAS.. then plug in the admin credentials and the install will begin with admin privies. When the install is done, the process is terminated and the admin privies released.
