  1. I click Start, and then Run, I type dcomcnfg and then OK. When I'm in Component Services I click on Services (Local)and then on the Standard Tab at the Left bottom corner and scroll down to windows installer.

    Name: Windows Installer
Description: Adds, Modifies, and Removes etc. . .
Status: (Blank) I change it to Start and it works but when i close it and it goes blank again
Startup type: Manual and I change it to Automatic then i close the program and it goes back to manual
    Log on As: Local System

How can I Keep the settings that i modify them to, to stay on those settings?

    can anyone help me?

this would help me on my other Thread
