How to make .GIF's smaller

I need to make my pics smaller they are in GIF format and I have to keep the same format just need to resize the pic. What software do I need or how can I do it. As always thanks. BanC

Another thing that I just love is a program that enables you to right click on a picture and "resize this image" is an option. Although, I just tried to see what program it is and no luck. Anyone know what this is so BanC can try it out?
