How to modify BIOS setting?

Hi there,

I am trying to do a reinstall of XP and the instructions I have say to boot from the XP disc. My laptop is booting from my hard drive, so I need to adjust my BIOS settings to boot from the CD drive. Problem....I don't know how to get into the BIOS. Can someone tell me?

1. Turn on (or restart) your computer.

2. When the DELL™ logo appears, press <F2> immediately. If you wait too long and the Windows logo appears, continue to wait until you see the Windows desktop. Then shut down your computer and try again.
