How to put a dvd onto a iPod Touch

    Hello Everyone,

    Again, I'm not sure if I'm in the right forum. I just got my first iPod Touch and my issue is that I'm trying to put some movies onto it to help kill time on a trip.

    Is there anyone that can assist me with this issue?

    Hi. Are you using iTunes? There are sections for movies, tv shows, etc that you can upload to your ipod.

    I am almost 100% sure copying dvds is considered illegal and therefore we can't help you do that. The DVDs are encrypted which keeps them from being copied. You'd have to break the encryption to do so...which, again, is illegal. Sorry.

    that's what I thought also, Fair Use law and all
    also why new dvds give you a digital copy on the dvd, right?
