Hp 533w

    I have an HP 533W, I turn it on and it goes about 3 to 5 min and shuts down, It boots up and I can go on line then it shuts down, the power light stays on and the cd drives still open and the hard drive still spins but no mother board fans, please help!!! Thanks!!

    Have you cleaned it out inside? Computers usually shut down because of heat. Either the fans are stopping because of dust or age or the CPU is overheating because the fan quits or it is too dusty.
