HP a6152n; Intel G33 Chipset driver needed

I had to reformat my hard drive and searched for all relevant software and drivers (video, sound, etc.). Unfortunately the specs at HP are scant...

Problem: I cannot install the ethernet controller, thus no network nor Internet access. (generic 56K bps data/fax/modem not working either). I am having difficulty finding an ethernet driver that works.

Here's what I have, according to HP and my computer:

Computer model: HP a6152n
Intel G33 Express chipset
56K bps data/fax/modem (I tried the Conexant PCI Soft Modem Driver)
Windows XP Home Edition​

I read a similar thread () suggesting the installation of the Nvidia drivers; (Download if you have the normal Windows XP Home or XP Pro Operating System installed

I also tried the drivers here: http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/sb/CS-026488.htm which also failed.

Install these drivers in the same order as I listed them here; chipset first, HD Audio Update before the Sound driver. That should do it!!! If you have questions, or problems, please let us know!!!
