HP compaq 6910p screen problem

Further to my previous posts.
New used screen arrived this morning.
swapped it over but no joy...

When I boot up a very faint HP logo for 1/2 second
then blackness.

It is running Windows 10.

I had it running to a monitor but I instructed it to open in Safe mode.

Now I am unable to see anything happening.

I am truly puzzled as to what to do.
Any thoughts kindly considered.

I just to run kierns bootup disk but I could see anything on the monitor.

 

Solved

I hadn't correctly connected the monitor power source.

Took the new screen out and connected in properly.
