Hp elitebook 2540p driver

I cannot for the life of me rememeber what driver i had to install to get my nub working in terms of selecting.

This was 100% working before and i can't remember what driver was making it work. I tried all the hp website ones and they don't work.

Just to clarify the nub that you can use as an alternative to the trackpad works but when i tap the nub it doesn't select anything and before i reinstalled windows that feature was working.

Any help much appreciated

To verify: you've tried installing the chipset driver from this page? And, is there an available driver update from Microsoft?

 

Also: does the "nub" show up in Device Manager? If so, what is its name, device and vendor ID #s, etc.?
