HP OmniBook 6100 Notebook

there seems to be a problem with my laptop

when i boot up to windows the icons on the destop keep flickering and when i load up an appucation like internet exslore and if i start to type in the address bar the text get deleted and like the current page is reloaded

other things like when opening the start menu and moving a mouse curser
and sometimes an appucation opens up

could the keyboard and mouse on my laptop becusing this problem?
