HP Pavilion a6700y - Standby Mode

    Good Morning,

    I have HP Pavilion a6700y - 64 Bit

    I removed "Windows Home Vista" & installed "Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2".

    For some reason my "Stand By" mode button is unshaded.

    The "Turn Off" and "Restart" buttons are working.

    I went to micorosoft's website twice for updates but the "Stand By" mode button is still unshaded/not working.

    Please help.
