hp pavilion dv6 hs and fan

hello guys. i'm looking for a replacement hs and fan for my hp pavilion dv6. the part number is 637610-001. can't seem to locate one anywhere in uk. it's got i3 processor. i know i can't just use any but is there an alternative part number that maybe will fit my laptop? by the way, can i just replace the fan with this model laptop? a lot of people say you need to replace both hs and fan. cheers

Doesn't matter if it says it's for a different model HP it's the same part number.

Compare your old HSF with the pictures on ebay very carefully to be sure it matches.

You'll have to replace the whole HSF unit.

Check your old fan doesn't work first though, get two sewing pins and put them in the end of the fan connector then connect to a 9V battery Red wire to positive +, black wire to negative -.
