    Hey geeks,

    My site that I am working on for my uncle is already online at www.artexfab.com, but Im doing some work on the site like adding videos and images, and fixing up its old look. I was told to redo the intro page, but i'm having one little problem.

    The table I used to hold the logo and images has a section on the far left and right hand sides, which is just a green line along the top. I have been trying to figure out how to stretch the green bar so it goes the entire length of your monitor, no matter what the resolution you are at.

    For example...

    Code:
    ...

    <tr>
        <td rowspan="4"><img name="Splash_r1_c1" src="Splash_r1_c1.gif" width="[B][COLOR=Yellow]100%[/COLOR][/B]" height="360" border="0" alt=""></td>
       <td colspan="8"><img name="Splash_r1_c2" src="Splash_r1_c2.gif" width="720" height="114" border="0" alt=""></td>
        <td rowspan="4"><img name="Splash_r1_c10" src="Splash_r1_c10.gif" width="100%" height="360" border="0" alt=""></td>
       <td><img src="spacer.gif" width="1" height="114" border="0" alt=""></td>
    </tr>

    What can I do to strech the green line all the way across the screen on any resolution other than the 100% command?

    Thanks!

    You may wish to do a table within a table with the outside table holding the main title graphic at a width="100%" statement and the inside table with the width="753" statement. Keep both of them with the align="center", not sure if it would work or not as I have not worked it up at home yet but it is worth the try.

    Any particular reason you don't want use the 100%, would 99% work or are you just trying to avoid the % for some reason?

    You might want to use CSS instead.... height:100%? or margin-left:0px margin-right:0px... if its to go accross the whole screen...
