HTML:Framer-inf [Trj] message when browsing

    Hi,

    would really appreciate some help please :)

    getting a trojan alert message from avast when browsing sites, not all the time but frequently. it's daughters computer so it is bound to be full of rubbish ... here is an example of what comes up:

    Please use add/remove programs to uninstall:
    Java(TM) 6 Update 17
    Java(TM) 6 Update 7
    Messenger Plus! Live
    Peer2Peer-EN Toolbar

    Now use windows explorer to find and delete:
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\g1a020s787
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\lC31000NgBfP31000

    Now download and install:
    Java Runtime 6

    Tell me what issues you are still having.

    Thanks - still get the same message come up when browsing after taking those steps. do i need to rerun the scans?

    Please re-run the scans and run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below log:

    • C:\MGlogs.zip
    • SAS
    • MBAM
