Humming laptop

    Hi everybody::)

    Recently I downloaded quite a number of free desktop backgrounds and screensavers from download.com. My laptop is now making a low humming sound and is getting hot after working for a few hours. (it was not so previously). What might be the cause and what is the solution for this?

    Please guide as u guys always do!

    Probably your fan. Check for airflow where the fans should exhaust out from the side.

    brownizs is most likley right but just in case, check the CD Drive to see if maybe it's just a CD spinning.
