I can only connect using safe mode to the internet

I use a wireless connection...and the other day it would not connect it would show i was connected even though i wasnt connected... so i made sure everything was connected right and even reset the router then i thought it was my router so i went somewhere else to try to connect and that did not work so i tried to directly connect not using wifi ...and still did not work... so i started up in safe mode with networking...and it connected... so now what do i do?

 

The Wireless connection utility might state “Connected” when there is a Wireless signal reception. However if some thing is wrong with the Network, or any of the components related to the Network, there is real Network connection.

In General, you can debug the Network Setting of the computer following these steps.

Step One. Check the Network parameters in the Computer's Device Manager. Make sure that the drivers are installed correctly; there is No IRQ conflict, and No Ghost installation( http://www.ezlan.net/faq#ghost ).

Step Two. Verify Basic network setting in the OS, http://www.ezlan.net/Installing#verify

If the above two Steps indicates that every thing looks good but functionally it does not work.

Step Three. Check (and repair if necessary) the Socket Layers, Winsock, and or refresh the TCP/IP Stack, ( http://www.ezlan.net/clean#refreshnet ).

Once you ascertain that the Network settings per-se are configured correctly.

Yes everything is as it should be... but yet still no connection

 

alright when i go to get on my msn messanger the trouble shooter is showing that dns was unable to resolve my Ip address and then it also said something about key ports
