I can't figure out the socket type for my CPU

    I have an hp pavillion 750n, this is all the hp site said about the cpu, I am wondering how much it could be upgraded, it is getting kind of old.

    I think I figured oiut it is a socket 478 do you think iy is a good idea to upgrade to a 2.4ghz p4?

    Yea why not. Go higher if you can afford it. I'm 3.4Ghz socket 478 and theres nothing it wont run.
