I can't upload, Browser keeps crashing! Virus?

I can't upload anything......When I click the "browse" button on Ebay or any picture site my browser crashes or hangs and I have to ctrl alt del to close it. There was no information for this anywhere online. can someone help me I have all virus checlks and spyware etc.

Some more information like what Browser and operating system you are using etc.

Have you tried simple things like clearing your temp internet files?

 

using XP, and this happens ot both IE and Firefox. Tried to clean temp files also.

 

I mean I can hit "browse" in the Internet browser as im trying to upload, then a windows explorer box pops up and as I double click the file it just locks up. This only happens to picture type files jpegs, etc.

This isn't a permanent solution, but until u get your answer, try going to tools>internet options>advanced and uncheck "show pictures"
