i have winxp sp2 and wanted to format my hard disk. when trying to create a bootdisk i get the message "c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt The system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications." i tried the instructions in one post and found out that i didn't have system32 folder. the closest i have is c:\windows\system. wonder if they're the same and if not, how can i remedy the problem?

You do have a system32 folder, I assure you.

Go to start, run and type %systemroot%\system32

    See what opens.

Check to make sure that it is not hidden.
