I followed the readme first and things seem much better. Quick Questions...

1.Should I still post my logs (in this thread) for someone to look over?

2.I'm fairly sure I should, and will delete the programs I installed through the instructions. I will probably reinstall my McAfee security thing because i did pay for it. Should i wait until after I delete the other programs, should i keep any of those programs? I'll keep them until after someone views my logs, in case i need to redo any of them, and i'll wait on reinstalling McAfee until i hear back. thanks in advance. things really do seem a lot faster and no more pop ups...yet.

One more thing...is anything protecting me right now? I noticed SAS is running on startup, so that should do it for now? also is it possible to show a helper your startup items so they can tell you if they need to be there. thanks again!
