i have a question about the heatsink

does anyone know where I could get replacement clips for a heatsink on amazon? I know Ive seen them before and after my last battle with the heatsink I want to be safe as I had a very difficult time getting the thing on correctly. Any help would be appreciated.

 

We don't have any idea what MB you have or what CPU you're using. More information is needed.

 

well, I just bought a replacement heatsink. It is for a lga 774 intel core 2 quad. in an asus mid tower case btw.

 

thanks for the help though. if you could direct me on where to find replacement clips for the heatsink still, would be great. it is a intel e7303, or something to that effect. sorry to bother

 

You'll have to look on Ebay for used clips but you may as well buy a whole new heatsink, go for an aftermarket if you don't like the stock design.
