I Need Help: Program Won't Work!!!!!!!!!!

I often use a program, which lets me write in other languages besides English. When ever I used it, it would work fine, but recently when ever I try to load it, a message appears with a saying

"16 bit Windows subsystem
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose "Close" to terminate the application"

It then gives me the choice to close or ignore and no matter which button i click nothing happens.

What should I do to make the program work.

Please help
