I Need Immediate Help Detecting Hardware

    have computer. have no sound. not sure what type of sound card is installed/integrated. no drivers. need to know if i can find a detection program or other to decipher what we have. the computer is a hand-me-down and we have no software. freeware would be GREATLY appreciated.

    thanks! i have found it is an Ensoniq 1371 and i'm having a helluva time wrangling it. wish me luck.

    http://www.emu.com/ is their present site. I've found drivers there.

    Ensoniq seems to make pretty good sound cards.
