I think I am being tracked/watched/hacked. Please help!

Alright, let me just start off by saying that a "buddy" of mine is very good with computers. Too good, if you know what I mean. (hes hijacked peoples webcams, and was one of the first people to get the illegal version of Halo 2 off the Internet.) Ive known him for years, but as of a few weeks ago, I just cant trust him...

I have multiple AIM usernames (security reasons) that I use as backups, should something go wrong.

Well, I'm not sure how much you know about Myspace, but I am going to try to make this as short and simple as possible.

This "girl" (dont know her) sought me out on myspace (never explained how she found my profile, despite repeated times being asked). She seems strangely interested in me (almost as if she planned it). "SHe" is very friendly, and if im wrong about all of this, i dont want to eff things up for what might be a good friendship.

"Her" profile is strangely barren, and from what I can tell, absolutely none of her Myspace friends are anybody she knows in person. (she left a comment for some guy and she talked to him like she knew him for years. He responded as if he had no idea who she was.) Also, she was supposed to meet someone in person (supposedly), but never did. "Why dont you just tell us who you really are???"

two weeks ago, she lived in buffalo, NY and went to a high school. As of last week, she now lives in Little Valley, NY and goes to daemen college... Strangely fast transition, huh? shes only 18.

The last weird thing about her is that she is on Myspace for about a minute at a time, but is on EXACTLY when I am on the computer, but arent signed in to AIM or Myspace (how would she know?). also She shares the EXACT SAME NAME as a bilionaire, and a victorias secret model (down to the middle initial). When I searched for "******" (her last name) on the internet (white pages, and other sites), there was nobody with that such name in Little Valley, NY. Like that family didnt exist.


Basically, i think my hacker buddy is pretending to be her (every day, we joke around with another friend, and he tells me "Im so sorry" and never explains (as if its some inside joke). I wouldnt put it past him to pull a stunt like this.

I was wondering if i supplied a Hijack THis scan, you might be able to tell me if there was anything suspicious in there, that might enable him to be tracking my online activity. As an added security measure, i have been shutting off my modem, when I am not on the computer.

I dont know what to do, so please help.

 

So theres no way to tell if my "suspect" is behind this? If it is, I just gotta wait for him to either slip up, or get bored and give up.


Her pics have obviously been photoshopped (colors) and the last pic of her, doesnt look like her in the previous ones...

But i will do as you say, and get you the results soon.
